What a six months!

We had our largest and busiest NEC show ever in January. This year we put in a huge effort in stand presentation and hospitality and thankfully it was rewarded with a very busy 4 days. We were taking orders right up to COB on the Wednesday. Overall NEC 2012 was hectic but great fun. I really hope the organisers can step up their efforts in 2013 and deliver the kind of Interiors Show our industry deserves - no more empty spaces!

This year we successfully launched 3 new ranges, Newberry, Lavella and Belmont. The response for all 3 has been fantastic and we are really excited about getting these ranges in the market place. The new design direction of the company aims to target the western european look with Scandanavian, French and German influences. It gives us a clear point of difference from the far east imports which our customers were happy to see. Newberry and Lavella will be the first to roll off production with estimated delivery in May/June. Belmont will follow and is scheduled to be delivered in July/August. Each collection is quite precise and require careful engineering....not to be rushed!

Finally, we are delighted to announce we have set up a new distribution centre in the UK (Manchester). This has been on the cards for a while but the right opportunity has now presented itself. It's a massive shift in our business model which should see efficencies achieved and a significant improvement in service and lead times. Deliveries from our new centre are expected to start in April.
